Compliance & Accountability is the foundation of the UNIPA Police‘s operational integrity. This division is tasked with monitoring adherence to the organization’s policies, international law, and ethical standards, ensuring transparency, responsibility, and corrective measures where necessary.
- Role: Ensure that all UNIPA Police operations comply with internal regulations, international laws, and human rights standards.
- Responsibilities:
- Regularly auditing operations, financial activities, and mission outcomes to ensure compliance with the UNIPA Police Charter and relevant regulations.
- Establishing mechanisms for internal and external accountability, including confidential reporting channels for misconduct or violations.
- Implementing corrective measures in response to non-compliance, ethical breaches, or operational inefficiencies.
- Providing training and support to enhance understanding of compliance requirements for all personnel.
Objective: To foster a culture of accountability within the UNIPA Police, ensuring that all actions are transparent, ethical, and in line with international standards.
